Its all going down over at General Motors, its seems the US government is not holding and hands of tolerating any failure of they bailout investment. The ‘good’ parts of GM have been saved, but the government has swept the broom through senior management, announcing major changes in more than 20 senior roles.
The biggest change would be moving senior GM European staff back to the US before the move was made, Brent Dewar, GM’s European sales chief, has been named the new boss of Chevrolet.
The list of those were were cut out is as follows. Gary Cowger, group vice president, global manufacturing and labour relations; Ralph Szygenda, group vice president and chief information officer; Troy Clarke, group vice president and president, GM North America; Maureen Kempston Darkes, group vice president, liaison car hire GM Latin America, Africa and Middle-East; and Michael Grimaldi, GM Vice President and CEO GM Daewoo all departing the company.
