Mobile broadband provider 3 has been claimed that mobile broadband services are quickly becoming a viable alternative in areas where people do not have fast or reliable land line services
3 which has a strong broadband user base feels that if properly supported next-generation pay as you go mobile broadband technology has the capability to deliver 2Mb services to households and businesses outside of the existing zones currently covered.
With coverage in mind, 3 had future plans to deliever 3,000 to 4,000 new sites that would enable the best mobile broadband services to the two million houses currently without it.
In another report The Coda Research Consultancy suggested that there will be more than 418 million broadband laptop users around the world by 2017. Lets hope they are all going to get high speed coverage.
