Firstly, it’s always useful to try and get your work-life balance in order. There are certainly challenges that come with this, especially when there are situations where work cannot wait or there’s some pretty busy months coming up that you have to be around the workplace for. However, all work and no play makes your life very lack-lustre, even if you love work. Everyone needs a break from the hustle and bustle of work life and earning money. You should be able to go out and spend it too!

At the same time, if you’re having too much of a social life, your work life might suffer so it’s important to get a good balance in place.

It’s always good to look after yourself but it’s surprising how few people tend to spend time on their own self care. Instead, they tend to put others first and although that’s all well and good, you need to be able to look after yourself in order to be the best version of yourself for others.
Try to make time for those evenings, days or afternoons where you want to spend them doing something you love.
